Have any of our readers ever harvested and used this "ancient grain" at all? It apparently can be used as a cereal, or popped and used as a garnish for salads, etc. I've grown this as an accent plant in our gardens (it has deep purple foliage and a large, feathery, purple-red flower/seed stalk). By the appearance of the seed stalk, it would yield a large volume of seed. Just wondering! Please contact me at dough@zeghersseed.com ...... bye for now! |
