I saw a strange thing driving over to work the other day! For the first time this year, I actually saw a dust cloud rising from the field being worked by one of our country's approximately 600,000 farmers. (In the same field, I saw clods of mud the size of small boulders, ruts that appeared to be deep and wide enough to float a canoe in, and a "lake" the size of a football field ... that was looking like the new permanent home for several species of waterfowl.) Manitoba farmers are an especially enduring & innovative bunch ... they never seem to say never! Bonne chance .... |
