CDC Falcon - NO classification change (at least until 2014)

posted Aug 16, 2011, 12:19 PM by Doug Hyde
There has been some confusing reports that wrongly indicate CDC Falcon is being de-registered.  This IS NOT the case.  CDC Falcon remains among the best choices for Red Winter Wheat in the Eastern Prairies.

What will happen is that CDC Falcon will in all likelihood be moved to the General Purpose wheat class - once a suitable replacement is available - and this is not likely to occur before 2014.

Zeghers Seed Inc. has certified Falcon seed available for sale - and it has been performing well for our growers.
