I was driving to work the other day coming south through the Assiniboine Valley on #242.  It struck me as rather odd as I looked off to the west over the south (still partially flooded) river flat ... and saw the shimmering reflection of a pivot pumping water onto a crop growing in one of the flats a little further back around the bend.  It really seemed like such a strange sight ....
